If the day you arrive is monday or Saturday, you will have a chance to admire the very colourful markets of the Hammer, Karo and Dassanech tribes at Tuirmi or Dimeka villages respectively. These tribes are famous for their hairstyles, ornaments, scarification, culture and more. Overnight stay at Turmi.
Day 6: Turmi toArba Minch:Morning drive toArba Minch and on the way visit the Erbore people and their village. Boat ride on Lake Chamo to visit the famous crocodile market.Overnight stay at Arba Minch.

Day 1:Arrival in Addis Ababa at Bole International Air port
You will be met at Bole International Airport, Addis Ababa, and transferred to the Hotel from where the expedition will start in the morning. If your flight arrives in Addis Ababa during the morning or afternoon, there may be time to take in some of the city sights before. dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 2: Fly to ArbaMinch, and then drive to high land people of Dorze
We will catch the early flight from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch where our drivers will meet us. During the day we willbe to Lake Chamo for a relaxing boat trip when we hope to see crocodiles, hippos and plenty of species of bird . After lunch will be into the hills to visit Dorze village with its remarkable, tall thatched houses. The Dorze people, who live high in the mountains, are famous for their beehive-shaped bamboo houses. They use ingenious terracing and have a unique traditional life style with their colourful weaving products. We will have dinner in the town, a locality famous for its fish dishes. Overnight stay at Arbaminch.
Day 3: Drive to Jinka .Early morning drive to Jinka. On the way, visit the Cushitic speaker Tribes , the Bena and Ari people. There is a big Thursday market in Key Afer where you can see the Tsemay, Weyto, Hammer ,Ari and Bena people. Overnight stay in Jinka Resort hotel.
Day 4: Day vist to Mursi people
Drive Jinka, Mursi – Magovia Mago National Park of is located on the east bank of the river Omo. We visit the Mursi village, whose women have the custom of expanding their lower lips using disks that gradually get larger and larger. These are people who farm the land and breed livestock; they live in almost complete isolation from the rest of the world. Overnight stay in Jinka hotel.
Day 5: Drive to Turmi, the principal town of the colourful Hamer people
Drive to Turmi via Dimeka. En route we pass by the Hamer and Benna cattle herders.
Turmi is the central town of the Hamer people. It is a main trading point between many of the Rift Valley peoples so markets here are particularly interesting. Optional Bull jumping is possible during any of the day while in Turmi. Overnight stay in Turmi.
Day 6: Morning trip to where we see Karo people .We do an excursion trip to Murulle to visit the Karo people. The Karo adorn their bodies with different paintings, done for dance, feast, or celebration. Yellow mineral rock, black charcoal and pulverized red iron ore are traditionally used for the body painting. They use bid biros, nails, candy wrappers, and cartridges for body decoration.
After lunch you will have village visit featured with tribal dance. The most important event in Hamer society is the bull jumping, an initiation rite. Up to 15 bulls are lined up in a row. The initiate with naked body has to leap on the back of the first bull, then from one bull to the next, until he reaches the end of the row. He must repeat in the opposite direction, then third times. We will spend the afternoon at the bull jumping heading to our campsite for the evening. Bull jumping is occasional event. Overnight stay at Turmi.
Day 7: Full day in Turmi .We drive to Omorate and after crossing the Omo River we encounter the Dassenech people. Omorate lies on the eastern bank of the Omo River and is almost totally isolated from the rest of Ethiopia. Here we will visit the countryside, and go into the villages and the river people. Afterwards continue on to Turmi.
Day 8: Drive to Arba Minch. Overnight stay in ArbaMinch .
Day 9: Drive to Awassa .We will travel back up the Rift Valley, crossing fertile land planted with bananas, mangos and papayas and inhabited first by the Gamo people and then by the Woliyta. Then drive to the lake side city of Awassa to arrive in the mid afternoon. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 10: Drive back to Addis
Morning visit to Lake Awassa that is set in a volcanic crater, Awassa Lake is the smallest in the Ethiopian Rift Valley. Here, we may view hippos, grivet monkeys, and Colobus monkeys with their wonderful white faces encircled by deep ebony crowns. Birdwatchers will especially enjoy such avian wonders as the silvery-cheeked hornbill, black-winged lovebird, and Abyssinian black-headed oriole.
The city of Awassa with its diverse ethnic mix will be especially enjoyable as we walk through the daily market where colorful villagers negotiate for fish. After lunch continue driving to Addis .In the evening we will enjoy a farewell dinner and traditional show before the departure. Day use in hotel.

Day 4: Drive to Turmi via Arebore :Drive to Turmi, via Arbore in the Weyto valley. Friday is market day in Arbore, so if passing on this day, you will visit the market. Overnight stay in Turmi.
Day 5: Day trip to Omorate to visit the Dassench/Tribe/
In the morning, drive to Omorate. where you will cross the Omo River by local boat and visit the Dasennech tribes. Afterwards, return to Turmi and, if there is Jumping of the Bulls traditional Hammer wedding ceremony, it will be visited. Overnight stay in Turmi
Day 6:DriveJinka : Day trip to Murille to visit Karo village
Drive to Karo, to visit the Karo tribes.Depart from Turmi to Jinka. On the way, stop in Dimeka for the local market, which is on Tuesdays and Saturday.Overnight stay inJinka.
Day .7Day trip to Mursi village via Mago National Park
Drive to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribe, who are known for their lower lip and earlobe plates. Afterwards, return to Jinka, where you can visit the South Omo Museum &Research Center for more information about the tribes. Additionally, Saturday is market day in Jinka, which may be visited.Overnight stay in Jinka.
Day 8: Drive to Konso
Drive to Konso via Key Afar. You will have the opportunity to visit the Benna people at the local market in Key Afar, which takes place on Thursdays. Afterwards, continue driving to Konso, which has markets on Thursday. The Konso people are known for their totems erected in honor of the dead and their intricate agricultural terracing techniques. Day 9:Drive toYabelo on the way visit different kinds of Birds continue Visit El Sod, which is home to a large salt deposit called the House of Salt. There are several deep crater lakes here from which salt is extracted.Yabello. Overnight stay in Yabelo.
Day 10:Drive to Wondo Genet. On the way Visit Wildlife Sanctuary and visit a local village of the Borena people. After the visit, proceed driving to Wondo Genet, where you can swim and relax in the hot spring pools.
Day 11: Drive to Langano; On the way drive a short distance to Lake Langano, one of the Rift Valley Lakes, and the only lake that you can swim in. You will also visit Abiatta-Shala National Park. Lake Shala is a very deep crater lake and Lake Abiatta , which attracts thousands of flamingos. Overnight stay in Langano.
Day 12: Drive back to Addis Ababa and departure
After a morning relaxing around the lake, continue back to Addis Ababa. After having a fare-well dinner check-in for flight back home.
